Nissan Skyline GT-R – BCNR33

The fourth generation Skyline GT-R, codenamed BCNR33, was officially launched in January 1995, though it had been in production since August 1993.
This R33 version used the same RB26DETT engine from the previous-generation R32, and was largely a development of the older R32 model, rather than a whole new car in its own right. It featured improved computer parameters for the ATTESA-ETS four-wheel drive and Super HICAS four-wheel steer systems. The R33 was larger in all dimensions, and also heavier by 100kg than its R32 predecessor. It also added minor visual changes both on the inside and outside. The car came standard with the Brembo brakes that offered more stopping power in a shorter distance, and from 1995 safety was enhanced with standard airbags.
