The Series 7 RX-7 was in production from 1996-1999 and included some minor changes to the car. Updates included a simplified vacuum routing manifold and a 16-bit ECU allowing for increased boost which netted an extra 10 kW. Series 7 RX-7s were produced only in right-hand-drive configuration.
