On the Saturday just been, the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland came alive with one of the largest fields of show cars gathered in the one place in some time. Around 200 cars flooded the halls of the Showgrounds for what was without doubt one of the best Nats shows to grace the 'grounds for some years. Across the weekend, many an award was deservedly won, but with the main coveted show stopper awards being split between Toni Cook in her now twin-turbo V8-powered Mercedes-Benz dubbed XBENZV and Brendon Gilbert in his ex-NZPC cover car Mazda RX-7. Taking out one of the greatest crowns of the weekend, though, as voted by the thousands and thousands of showgoers who flooded through the gates was the immaculately detailed Ghost Busters 626.
