NZPC195 is out now and jam packed

February 5th, 2013 by Marcus

Its  been a whirlwind month for the team at NZPC, from shooting world class cars, to covering three massive events over January. That has lead to an insane issue to kick off 2013. The star of this months edition can only be the Lexus GS300 of Carl Thompson, with a chassis fit for a V8 Supercar and an engine fit for a 7-second drag car all brought together to create what is without a doubt one of the world’s best drift car builds and best of all it’s 100% kiwi built

The three events we mentioned started in Mt Maunganui for the second stop on the NZPC Summer Tour. We had a good turn of cars and people, took a cruise through the Mount and finished up with a BBQ at Class A Customs

Two weekends later we were back down to the Mout to join a capacity crowd and witness Fanga Dan Woolhouse continue his opponent destroying form this season in Cody’s D1NZ. Run on a custom built track at Baypark, it brought its fair share of amazing door-to-door battles and car crushing carnage

The next weekend we attended the biggest date of the import calender the V 4&Rotary Nationals. We have seven pages on both day one- the show

And another seven pages of day twos drag racing at Fram Autolite Dragway Meremere. Catch all the cars, girls and action from the two day extravaganza

We take a look at the evolution  of leon Scott’s Jet Pilot Evo. It was on the cover in 09 and since then it has evolved into a brutal 500kW time attack machine ready to destroy New Zealand race tracks

We head to the Waikato and go for a roll in Tyler’s well appointed Ford Escort

And then to Wellington to be blown around while shooting a JDM packed Nissan S15 of Lester. Big custom Work Wheels, a geniune Wise Square GT wide bodt kit and a 292kW SR20 under the hood

We have the beatiful Jaclyn on the cover. we take a look at some of the best cars to feature at the Festival of Motor racing at Hampton Downs and learn all you ever wanted to know about the RB25 in our Motor Knowledge tech feature

This is but a taste of all the goodnes we have packed into NZPC 195 for your reading pleasure. Grab a copy from your favourite news agents, gas station or super market and don’t forget that you can subscribe to NZPC and save a ton of cash at
