No.8 Import All-Stars in association with NAC Insurance

It’s now just one week out from the first major import-based event of the 2009/2010 drag racing season — the No.8 Import All-Stars. Like previous years, the tarmac of Fram Autolite Dragway, Meremere, will house the straight shooters who will be competing at the first of four NZ Import Drag Racing Championship rounds planner over summer.

It’s going to happen like previous Import All-Stars event, with an invitational field of Pro Import and Sport Mod machinery matched off against one another for heads-up grudge racing. Additionally to this, there will be a full support field of street cars there on the day, too — all of which you can be a part of. These classes include:

  • C1 — Turbo 4WD
  • C2 — Turbo 2WD
  • C3 — Rotary Turbo
  • C4 — Rotary N/A
  • C5 — Naturally Aspirated
  • C6 — DYO
  • C7 — Pro Street/Sport Mod
  • C8 — Pro Import
  • C9 — Outlaw

Up for grabs will be cash prizes to the tune of $150 for street class, $500 for Sport Mod and $1000 for Pro Import winners.
