If you want to see two high-spec performance cars battle it out, then British TV show Fifth Gear has you sorted. This time round its the pumped up Mitsubishi Evo FQ400 vs the yardstick Nissan GT-R.

Presenters and expert racing drivers Jason Plato and Tiff Needell put the Mitsubishi Evo FQ400 and the Nissan GT-R against each other in a series of tests on the race track. We all know what the Nissan GT-R is all about, but what about the Evo? The Mitsubishi Evo FQ400 is powered by the same 2.0-litre engine as the stock Evo but has a massive turbocharger strapped on and now develops 300kW and 387lb.ft of torque. With the extra ponies packed under the bonnet, the Mitsubishi Evo FQ400 needs only 3.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h, which might just make it a worthy opponent for the Godzilla.
