Ken Block got off to a disappointing start with the big boys in the first round of the 2010 WRC in Mexico. He failed to negotiate a gravel corner and crashed out on the second day of the rally last weekend.

In the interview afterwards Ken Block admitted it was a rookie mistake and he was running to wide into the corner. Although Block and his Ford Focus were running well until the crash, his first WRC rally came to an abrupt end. Block was not the only one to crash. Raikkonen did the same leaving the podium to be occupied by a Citroen hat-trick of Loeb, Solberg, and Ogier.
