Classic Japanese circuit racing in NZ

If you haven’t caught up with it in the past couple of issues of NZ Performance Car magazine, but happen to be so inclined towards classic Japanese cars, then the All Classic Japanese Series may interest. A newly formed race series for those slightly older, and more period-styled racers, the ACJS is a great place to race in a fun, friendly, and relaxed environment. As such, there are a few basic rules, including limits on how fast the car can lap tracks, and rules stating that the car must maintain its factory appearance. Additionally, all cars must be 20 years or more, older — run as a sliding scale — and the cars will be broken down into different classes within the series to maintain fair racing.
If you have something that you think fits this bill, or are interested in getting involved and want to know more about the class rules and regulations, contact series organiser Steve Melhuish on 021 635 439 or jump online to www.acjs.co.nz
