All Classic Japanese Racing series kicks off at Pukekohe this Sunday

September 2nd, 2010 by NZPC

The All Classic Japanese Racing series is getting into full swing this Sunday with its first race of the season at Pukekohe Park Raceway. The series was first conceived in early 2009 and has become an instant hit with competitors looking for a fun, safe and inexpensive series to race in.

This is a series created to encourage the racing of Classic Japanese Race cars that are 20 years old or older.  It’s suitable for Japanese cars that are not heavily modified and meet certain MotorSport New Zealand rules.

The ACJS series has a minimum field of fifteen cars per meeting in an eight round series competing at Pukekohe Park Raceway, Hampton Downs and Taupo Raceway.

The series is for old school Japanese vehicles with original factory exteriors. Only period or factory spoilers can be used. Replicas are also allowed.
