CHOP BRIEF: When it comes to the Honda Civic Type R, we’ve always lucked out in having the rabid little beasts sold new in New Zealand. Not so for our cousins across the ditch, however, who now have access to the current model machines built out of the UK. But as futuristic as the Type R looks, word has it that a new model Civic will be on the way before 2011 is out, and therein lies our Chop Shop comp for this month. Taking this front three-quarter image of the current model Type R hatch, we want you to create an updated 2012 version. Furthermore, we want aftermarket modifications, so at a minimum think rims, fibreglass or carbon bodywork enhancements, and custom paint. As usual, you’ll score more points for creativity and just how realistic the final artwork looks.
