Sorry for the lack of updates of late, a exciting chain of events has resulted in me not being able to get near the blog over the last little while!

First of all, last week we put the new issue to bed, and it will be arriving in stores this weekend!

Anyone that knows me, knows I’ve got a rager for all things JZX, so I’m pretty stoked to have Steve Sole’s kickass JZX90 on the cover of the new issue. Steve took me for a skid at Pukekohe in this thing and man it brought me back to my old car.

Besides being struck down with a bad case of man-flu (probably the universe telling me I’m getting too old to arrive home on a Sunday morning at 7am), its been all go around here. I sold my ’67 Coupe De Ville:

Then bought a new car that same week – a ’67 Impala Fastback, which we’ve been working on ever since in an effort to get it ready for summer.

To be honest, its currently a bit of a piece of shit, but the potential is definitely there. Later this week it goes to Grant at GT Refinishers, who is going to give the old girl a new lease on life. Grant is awesome, so I have high hopes for a good outcome. More on this as we go.
