Less than a year after the release of his debut album The Real Testament, Florida rap talent Plies has returned with the highly anticipated follow up. Dubbed Definition Of Real, this 15-track release is an exquisitely engineered work that mixes interesting beats over a boom-heavy base. And there’s plenty to like about the man behind the mic, too. From the streets to the stage, Plies is another rapper with a story to tell, but with his gritty southern-fried style, this clever lyricist is in a whole other league. The first single 'Bust It Baby, Pt 2’ featuring Ne-Yo is already doing bigger things than 'Shawty’ featuring T-Pain did on the first album, and if the rest of this sophomore release is anything to go by, there’s more to come, too.
