Hey Kristin, that’s a nice, clean-looking WRX you have what’s the story with it?
Thanks, it’s a 2000 Subaru Impreza V7 STI. The mods are pretty basic but it’s a good daily driver.

Some mods are better than no mods. Talk us through them.
Performance-wise it’s just the bare minimums exhaust system, air filter and a boost controller. Other than that it’s lowered onto 19-inch Advanti rims with coil-over suspension.

I hear you do a bit of legal racing in the weekends.
Yep, just at the Wanganui Street Drags. Last time round I was the quickest female and the fourth-fastest import of the day.

Warren at PPRE tells us you have a penchant for racing in high heels surely not!
Cheeky! Yes, that’s absolutely true. I’m a girly-girl at heart.

That must be incredibly difficult though.
No, it’s really not. If you wear heels every day it just feels natural.

Fascinating. So tell us, why did you choose a Subaru?
I’ve always loved Subies. One of my first cars was a V4 STI and that got me hooked.

The lifelong dedication is appreciated. Good luck with the high-heel racing!
